It's so incredibly depressing how we're basically indocrinating children into the internet rather than actually focusing on giving them a well-rounded and interesting education.

Kids (and increasingly so adults) need to learn to be bored, need to learn how to not doing anything - and this isn't not doing anything but doomscrolling, like actually not doing anything. They need to be able to look out of a window and imagine, they need to be able to not spend every hour of every day just consuming.
